Labor Support Doula - $650

I will meet with you prenatally to get to know you and to understand what is important to you about your birth.  We will discuss ways we can work together to achieve your goals.  I will help you get information you need to make your own decisions.  In labor I will help you be more comfortable and confident through reassuring communication, massage, comfort measures and positioning.  I will stay with you throughout labor and in the early postpartum time.  I will visit or call you in your home to go over the birth and answer any questions you may have

Childbirth Education Classes - $120

This comprehensive Lamaze Childbirth Preparation class is available in a 6-week format.  It covers nutrition, exercise, consumerism, stages of labor, comfort measures, newborn care and breastfeeding.

Labor Tub Rental - $150  (or $100 if you are also my doula client)

Over the last 10 years researchers have consistently proved that submersion in warm water can shorten labor and make it less painful. While laboring in water, women are less likely to require drugs such as narcotics or epidural, which cross the placenta making baby sleepier and breastfeeding more difficult.

Private Instruction - $30 per hour

Great for a refresher course, or for busy parents who don't have time for a six-week series.
